Kwaherini!

This is where the journey ends for six of us. I'm lucky enough to get to stay for another two weeks to travel around Tanzania, which has turned out to be a much bigger country than I could have imagined. Headed to Mafia Island tomorrow morning, then back to Unguja to volunteer at Creative Solutions (http://www.creativesolutionszanzibar.co.tz/) which is a non-profit school for disadvantaged children and adults. More on that later. Baadaye for now!

Baada ya Schule...

Last day of presentations today -- bittersweet. A group of us is leaving Friday to return home, the rest are heading out on our own adventures around Tanzania or the rest of Africa or Europe or anywhere. It's going to be strange not seeing everyone each day, and even stranger to return to our own schools without them. Think Becky and I are headed to Mafia Island, which is south of Unguja, after the program...but our plans are a little up in the air as always. Time for school!

Tumemaliza!

We've finished our independent study projects! Now all that's left are presentations and being touristy and saying goodbye. Getting excited to come home and see you all, but equally sad to leave the place I've called home for the last three months. Looking forward to some adventures in the next three weeks, though. Here's proof we finished:
